I have been the lead designer on many email marketing campaigns for the URJ Youth Programs. My role includes developing the concept, creating the graphics and loading the HTML.
Among these emails is The Clipboard, a key component of the Campaign for Youth Engagement, promoting and creating visibility for the Union for Reform Judaism’s youth programs among key stakeholders, board members and URJ staff. In July 2011, I redesigned the newsletter to include photos and a more robust description of each story. Since the redesign, the open rate has increased from an average of 28% to 34%, and the click-through rate has increased by over 40%.
